How to convert past failure into a skilful tool in the journey towards

How to convert past failure into a skilful tool in the journey towards achieving the success dream?

How often do we wonder if past failures which have taken so much of our investment in terms of time and energy can truly become success stories like it happens for some other people?

I have had the opportunity of meeting with some people who have spent hours on end wondering and pondering, and have almost come to the conclusion that it is only possible by sheer luck, if it ever happens, that a past failure turns around to become the major cornerstone of the building block of a future success story. The feeling of “being” or “nearly being a failure” has no boundaries. It can creep upon any one experiencing relationship challenges or work related difficulties. Whichever it is, I am here to remind us that it is down to us and our mindsets, how the difficult situations end up ultimately.
We have the inherent abilities to determine the ultimate outcome of our situations as long as we remain keyed into the master plan of the Great Creator of the universe for our lives.

Being mindful of the words of the Psalmist … “ My flesh…may fail, but God is the strength of my heart. “ .. I remember author William Saroyan who says: “Good people are good because they’ve come to wisdom through failure.” Do you hear that? That aptly puts across the suggestion that the conversion of a failure into a bedrock of a future success story always begins as an inside work.
It is a work which begins and ends in each individual heart. As long as in my heart I do not embrace failure, I am good to continue my journey towards my success dream.
Most times, failure is a default state of the mind. It usually has its roots in past life. These mindsets may have been learnt from childhood. However the good news is that everything learnt can be unlearnt. What is important is making the right choice to desist from embracing the mindset of being a failure whenever we meet with challenges or obstacles as we continue in life tackling tasks. Likewise in our quests for solutions, whenever difficulties present, we should bring our determination to the fore, making up our minds that we will not be quitters but we would only see these difficulties as stepping stones to a successful end; and not as stumbling blocks. It is a choice that needs be made all the time. Choosing between embracing defeat or accepting the situation as a difficult task that needs time to surmount becomes key in converting seeming failure into a tool for success.

If we have any difficult task at hand or are currently facing challenges, let me suggest we do not accept failure or defeat. If we need to embrace change of direction to open the door for another higher wisdom, that is probably the way to go.
Only do not rush to accept failure as an end in itself; what to the default mind may seem a failure soon can turn out to become a skilful tool in achieving the desired end.

Please let’s share our success stories and let others learn thereby.

Until next time,
