A Peep .. ???? .. into Annie’s Morning

A typical morning begins with a word of thanks to the Giver of life, and the Protector of the universe.. an expression of gratitude to G-d for all His blessings.

There is not a day without receiving the freshness of life. Each day is a brand new day, full of opportunities. Being expectant and being well prepared are jointly the way to go. Your mood will thank you for it.

And then a drink of cool room temperature water follows. Water is synonymous with life.

Following this a little later, a warm mug of green tea laced with one teaspoon of raw honey.. Not so bad an idea – Cells are kept in check, maintaining smiles on their faces and thanking profusely for helping them to say “No” to toxins .

And then, shortly before embarking on the day’s assignments, making a good meal of the greens – a great idea not to be missed.

Now, this is what I fondly called “the green machine”. It is indeed the fuel for the day, coupled sometimes (with two hard boiled eggs twice a week).

And how can hunger come knocking if the body is satisfied with all that is already provided even before the day’s chores begin.

A piece of toast, lightly buttered is just a treat.. simply to pacify the tastebuds and to pass the message that they are not forgotten; and to keep them quiet.

So what goes into this green machine?

  • 1 stick of celery
  • Cucumber ???? (about two inch in length)
  • 1 cup of Spinach (or a bit more if desired)
  • 1 green apple ???? (sweet apple)
  • 1 cup of Kale
  • A freshly boiled and cooled water or green tea – a third mug full


Chop them all up in moderate chunks.

Put them all in a smoothie maker – Nuttribullet the best.

Add a third mug or cup of cool green tea or boiled cool water, and blast away


Never let the green machine stand around.

Drink it straight away, without delay for best results. Keep the enzymes in. Have it all!


The taste has to be acquired.

You will need a fair amount of tummy space to harbour the machine. Start a little and grow with it. There’s no danger of bulging tummy over time as the system utilises everything. There are no fatty deposits.

It is like the news gets round the entire body system quickly and all the organs and various departments draw life needs and daily requirements from the reservoir and you certainly have everything to show for it – health and looks!


This is different from juicing.
