As the day drew to its close and the sun took the last stride home, I looked into the horizon –
What vigor? What an arrogance?
The sound of the newscaster broke into my silent contemplation…
“Covid-19 … Infections … Masks … Social Distancing and Vaccines … “
With that, an intense emotion grabbed me and somehow, unfortunately, I carried this emotion with me all through my nightly dreams.
With my waking thoughts .. ???? .. of gratitude and appreciation to G-d Almighty my Creator however, for giving me back my soul, came again this same intense emotion.
I took a long look through my balcony window, following the rays of light and just then, I saw the sun majestically making a grand re-entrance into the new day, with simple but same unmistakable intensity .
What a sight to behold.. ???? …
And just then, I recalled these two sayings of Sir Winston Churchill..
“Out of intense complexities intense simplicities emerge”
And …
“ To improve is to change.
So to be perfect is to change often”
With these two sayings taking the centre stage of my contemplations, I reached out for my painting brush and canvas. I hastily translated the words “Intensity” and “Complexity” respectively into these two paintings. Take a good look. I hope you can find some real messages coming through to brighten your day at this time.
Until next time
I remain
Yours truly
Annie
